Maire Clerkin
Máire Clerkin (writer, performer) founded and toured theatre companies, The Hairy Marys and Clerkinworks in her native UK and Ireland, and choreographed for productions at Royal Festival Hall, Theatre Royal, Radio City Music Hall and for BBC TV before emigrating to Los Angeles, where she is a Teaching Artist for the Music Center, and leader of A Gaelic Gathering: Irish Music & Dance ensemble. She is a writer, broadcast journalist, voiceover actor, and Irish Dance adjudicator.
