Shawna Pardo recently returned to film and the stage after many years working as a writer, event designer and master class mother and ring leader of three boys. Having always regretted veering away from her true passion for acting, Pardo decided to make a major life and career change in the Spring of 2011. Always one to fine tune her craft, Pardo went back to serious study before hitting the audition room again at the acclaimed Berg Studios under the mentorship of Yale School of Drama graduate, Gregory Berger-Sobeck.
Since 2013, Pardo has appeared in short-films, “Real Love,” “Orchid Season,” “Time to Wake-UP,” “Unbearable,” and “House of Liars.” Her work can also be seen in a supporting role on Up North- the webseries. Her film feature debut as Mrs. Donovan in “The Runaway,” is set to premiere in 2015. In addition to her professional endeavors, Pardo is often found in her free time at local music hotspots, on nature adventures with her husband and three sons, or making the occasional impromptu Flashdance video. Pardo is most excited to be a part of the stage adaptation of “The Runaway,” and honored to be a member of the 2014 Fringe Festival.
