Annie Lesser, man. Annie Lesser.
Look, I'm not going to review this show except to say that the thing I love about Fringe is that in one theater you can see a straight-ahead production of SOUND OF MUSIC and then you can see an Annie Lesser show after that and you will have jumped from one end of the "theatrical style line" to the other.
I'll prefer the Annie Lesser show.
GO TO THIS!!
Keight, you're my everything....

There's no point in my reviewing this show, because I feel it's all been said. Words like "brilliant," "funny," "touching" (I do wish he'd stop touching me), "intelligent," don't do the show justice. And as a huge Bardophile, I was not only blown away by MSF's performance, but by the way the script can be used as both a captivating story and as quality argumentative material for the authorship debate.
I heard about this "Michael Shaw Fisher" guy last year when he was winning all those award...

Fantastic. This is my kind of theatre - smart, witty, historical, zany, and macabre. I'll just say "GO!" because every aspect of this show is on point and I'm SO glad I got a chance to see it!!!!...

I cried three times. I laughed out loud. This show reminded me why I love theatre and how I love it in a different way than I love movies and books and TV. The vulnerability and joy of Katelyn Schiller hit me in ways I did not expect and I learned things about myself and RE-learned things about acting after watching this show. Does all of that sound pretentious and like false praise? So be it. It's all true.
See this....

Totally thought this was a series of short comedy vignettes. Totally wrong. Totally glad. A great cast working with a great script and tying together some very well-written unique characters. Some comedy, some tears, and a lot of really good work....

The phrase "tour de force" is really cliche. I don't care. This is an instance where words like "brilliant" and "amazing" sound like weak praise written by a friend of the performer.
This is not a one-woman show. It's a full experience with multiple realistic characters in an emotional story guatanteed to bring you to tears. Cyanne is, simply put, amazing.
Don't believe me? Well, woops, her show is completely sold out for the rest if the run. Try to catch it when she's extended - because...

Well, THIS was some of the most fun I've had at Fringe thus far! Not only is Three Clubs the perfect location for the Cherry Poppins girls, but the new loosely-plotted burlesque show is their best yet! This is old-school burlesque with a modern kick: classic songs, tap routines, comedy, magic (....), hip hop, a suave MC, a great live band, great costumes, and gorgeous, talented girls.
Head over to Santa Monica and Vine and check out the selection of knockers - all shapes and sizes are on sa...

If you dig ROCK OF AGES and GREASE, you'll love POP! A fantastic collection of "new 80's songs" and an across-the-board stellar cast with inspired direction on a minimalist set - once again proving that you don't need Broadway fireworks to make a compelling story with fun characters explode on the stage! Get tickets NOW because tickets will pop out of existence FAST!!...
