"Banana Intervention" by Jeremy Kehoe has witty, surprising writing, three delightful male actors, and a marvelous yellow costume. Very entertaining and amusing. Nancy Beverly's "Clouds Rest" is a ruminative, sweet, melancholy soliloquy. Actor Andrew Boyle skillfully pulls us through multiple levels of emotion. Beautifully written and acted. ... full review

the first two pieces were a little too "clever" for their own good in my opinion and the accents in the second were rough, but the third piece made it all worthwhile. it was a touching, well-written and extremely well executed piece. definitely worth seeing because of that third piece. ... full review

Some decent blackbox stuff here. Good use of space reminds that you don't need an entire set in order to put on a play. Tip of the cap to Ann Ryerson and Andrew Boyle who both take the work they are given and make it soar.... full review

A nice assortment of work here, although "Banana Intervention" seemed more of a skit than a play, even just ten minutes long. The next two pieces took some surprising and intriguing turns, giving nice color to what the word "intervention" means. I look forward to seeing more of the multiple offerings Fierce Backbone produced at the Fringe; this group of plays just didn't do much for me.... full review
