My overall impression
I found Nancy Eng to be refreshing! Her ability to transfer from character to character, without missing a beat, was flawless! She draws you in on every level, with every scene and every sentence. You can feel the angst, frustration, pain and self protection! Tears will flow in her scene about, ‘the only man who ever unconditionally loved her’… BUT make no mistake, you will laugh too!!! I enjoyed it from start to finish and my adoration of West Coast theatre has been restored! It was a gorgeous, seamless blend of humor and thought provoking scenes!
