I didn’t know it was possible to laugh and literally sob so much in the course of an hour. It effected me deeply and in very pointed way explored existential issues around mortality, absurdity, human connection, tragedy … words honestly don’t do it justice. It is an experience, and the audience involvement made it especially real, all encompassing, and 3-dimensional.
What I didn't like
My face hurt by the end because I had cried and laughed so much … and I realized I was dehydrated. The show is genius and I couldn’t even approach critique for it. Wholly unique and unprecedented.
My overall impression
This was the most powerful theatre experience I’ve ever been to. It was genius and broke every kind of wall you can imagine , audience + performer, alive + dead … I left in such a heightened state of awareness , it was basically a mystical experience, a hilarious and tragic epiphany.
