What I liked
Loved the pace of the show and how there was never a lull. Not easy to do in a one man show. Loved the gut wrenching honesty and creative approaches to life’s disasters.
What I didn't like
Only the production quality. However, even without the fluffy lighting and better stage environment, the quality came through
My overall impression
I really enjoyed Michael David Kers performance in “Birthday” last night. I found everything about it honest, unique and inspirational. (Sadly a rare experience these days.) A bit of an emotional roller coaster, you are drawn in immediately and engaged fully throughout. Beautifully crafted, it is raw, self deprecating, and fluid. Mr. is a talent with an empowering vehicle.
