What I liked
Greg weaves a clever original web of twists and turns with lively characters that affectionately echoes the super heroes we grew up watching and reading. The entire casts shines commiting to the world and genre and embraces the witty and funny staging necessary to bring this universe to life on stage. Travis Joe Dixon stands out as the troubled M-Pulse and delivers some of the best stage combat scenes I’ve seen on an intimate stage. Also bravo to the entire “SHADOW” squad that not only are the henchmen of the entire show, but also double as the “LIVE SFX/STUNT PEOPLE.” Bravo!
What I didn't like
I enjoyed the preview and made me nostalgic of my childhood. The show will continue to get stronger and tighter and no doubt will become a Fringe favorite by month’s end.
My overall impression
An original, fun, and poignant take on the super hero genre is packed with incredible fight choreography and laughs. If you love comics, don’t miss Tattered Capes.
