What I liked
What did I like about Earth to Karen? EVERYTHING! The story was hysterical and poignant at the same time. Each character was flushed out and completely likable, real and wonderfully quirky. The set was perfect – a couple of chairs and a table that got shifted around to represent different things. It was a minimalist kind of production that yeilded a maximum amount of enjoyment. Go Zach!!!!
What I didn't like
I’m thinking and thinking of how it could have been improved … and come up with NOTHING! It was perfect the way it was, and I highly recommend that you put a little time aside for some fun and laughter and get down to the theater to see it. Cousin or not, it’s a great show!
My overall impression
Zach Bernstein is my third cousin’s son. I came to the show to support him. I had never seen any of his work before. I was floored. I loved every minute of the play (REALLY!) and so it seems did the audience around me. The performance was very professional, the acting was flawless and the music was spicy and utterly enjoyable!
