What I liked
Fun performances! Amusing take on what life could hold for someone who captured the national spotlight with a single crazy act.
What I didn't like
It’s always a challenge with a musical, but keeping the band from fighting the singing is crucial to allow the audience to enjoy the lyrics. I did see that there was padding on the drums, but every musician should be hypersensitive to playing under the singers.
My overall impression
Charming musical running with the the idea of being unable to escape one’s past. The performers are quite entertaining with clever songs to sing — even working the great state of Nebraska into the lyrics!
