What I liked
The attention to detail to all the Star Trek stuff, like the green blood on the sword after stabbing a Romulan, the ships, sound effects, verbal references. The clever nods were all much appreciated it. The actors also sold it all with the sort of hammy zest that would make the Shat proud.
What I didn't like
It is a bit long, which I know is a result of the material they’re adapting but it’s still enough to feel noticeable especially since the gimmick itself would usually be more suitable for a skit than a nearly two-hour show.
My overall impression
This was a lot of fun. It works even if you’re not a Trek fan because of the inherent silliness of it all, but if you are a Trekkie as I am then you’ll appreciate it even more.
