What I liked
While there’s plenty of humor that comes from telling Marlowe’s classic epic tale set in space, there’s also plenty of intense drama, with a wildly talented, energetic cast who plays it seriously (even when they get laughs), and sharp, well-paced direction with a excellent stage combat, costumes, lighting, and drumming!
This dedicated cast tells the entire story in around 2 hours and keeps the energy up until the bitter end! Impressive performances!
What I didn't like
If you have sensitive ears, as I do, I recommend sitting in the back. You might even want earplugs as the sharp sound effects, beautifully staged as they are, can become intense.
My overall impression
Make no mistake, humans, this show is not only for Trekkies and Trekkers. Doing so would be a disservice, not only to humanity, but literature, and this shockingly great theater company.
