Great original music with fun lyrics, dynamic performances, hysterical comedy, and a heartfelt family story.

My overall impression

Robot Teammate have done it again, delivering another hilarious original musical to the Fringe stage with “Pockets.” Taking inspiration from Les Miserable and Oliver Twist, this tale of family strife set against the backdrop of social unrest is the most ambitious production yet from the musical improv troupe making their third foray into scripted theater. Despite the larger cast and big, well-choreographed musical numbers, the core group of performers all shine in their starring roles. This is a highly entertaining show that completely delivers on the promise of its premise and form.
