What I liked
The sketches that were the highlights of the show for me include Mexican Standoff, What Are You?, Hipster Filipino Appropriation, and Carmen San Bernardino.
What I didn't like
The standup and musical acts, while there to add variety to the show, were not the strongest parts of the evening. Also, some of the sketches felt like a single joke repeated too many times, far beyond the point of being funny.
My overall impression
A fun variety show with a diverse cast and subject matter to match. It manages to entertain while tackling social issues and satirizing the ways in which we often respond to them.
