I loved that it felt very honest and not forced and like he was talking to a friend. But, then, he would transition to something very theatrical to emphasize the impact on his life and the weight of that moment. It was so well done and I was sucked in through the whole show.
What I didn't like
I would like to hear more about his story. I think it was too short and he could have expanded it a bit more into how his childhood and background made him an artist or how it has impacted his life today and what he hopes for in the future or a profound question or statement as a button. I loved the ending. But, maybe that could be placed somewhere else and the ending could be a statement or a hope or an emotional button of some sort. If that makes sense.
My overall impression
I thought it was very brave, intimate, funny, heartbreaking. I left wanting to hear more. Kent is a wonderful story teller. I hope he does this show again and often.
