What I liked

The set, although minimal and simple was detailed enough to convey different living spaces that reflected the status of the relationship explored. The staging was also really effective, as the actors seemed to find endless positions and places to end up and deal with each other – I loved the use of the aisle in between audience seats, it made us feel part of the drama. Finally, the two leads were magnetic, compelling, brutal and deliciously vulnerable. Really great work all-around.

What I didn't like

I wish the transitions could have been a little bit tighter – not sure if the “pauses” between scenes was a creative or rather a logistical choice that could not be avoided.

My overall impression

This production is everything you want out of a two-person relationship play. Specific acting choices that make the characters layered and unique, interesting direction that uses the space in smart and evocative ways and a beautiful script to begin with, make this show a must-watch.
