What I liked

Singing while ’constructing" the set was clever. There was great cast chemistry—fitting since so many of them have the UC Santa Cruz connection. In particular, the interaction with a man Frederick—played with a delicious irony by a fine actress, Julia Finch—and Imogen (played by the bearded Luke Medina) resonated. Also really liked Teabag—Kat Devoe-Peterson—as a sensitive and sensible counter balance to the wackiness of the script. The Bear was great…glad to see there were no peanut allergies for Brandon Blum.

What I didn't like

I thought that sometimes—albeit rarely—the scrip stalled. The energy of the production needed a relentlessly forward moving dialogue. But honestly, I’m picking nits. It was a fun night.

My overall impression

It was a fast-paced energetic—-and at times attractively chaotic—show. A very enjoyable experience.
