The music was good for the most part, and the performers were great.
What I didn't like
The sound was very inconsistent; the music was too loud and the microphone levels were constantly changing. But really, the book needs to be looked at. Why is everyone in love with this straight white man? The character of Adam was intriguing, but he too was in love with the basic main character, eventually uselessly sacrificing himself. Seriously, all the women in his life are crazy? Women are not one-dimensional plot devices.
My overall impression
Women and queer people are thrown under the bus in the guise of comedy, and in 2019 there is no reason to go for these old “jokes” that are not, and never have been, funny.
