Marla Black is a charismatic and talented performer, deftly bouncing between ridiculous caricatures, direct addresses to the audience, and genuinely moving moments. Her story is unique, hilarious, and very surprising, and her staging lends just enough effects to take the audience to the Canadian wilderness. A brave, silly, and insightful solo show.
What I didn't like
Live dogs.
My overall impression
A charming, funny, and poignant coming-of-age story set in the wild world of dogsledding.
