What I liked
I liked the way that Marla invited the audience into her story. She is very engaging – it really felt like we were all on a journey together.
What I didn't like
I can’t think of anything off the top of my head – it was a very enjoyable show!
My overall impression
Marla tells a moving story with a few unexpected twists and a lot of humor + heart. She’s got a lot of great visual aids too – photos, hand drawn caricatures, stuffed animals – to help carry her tale. I don’t know much about the world of dog sledding, so it was cool to learn a thing or two – Marla did a good job of weaving interesting facts seamlessly into her performance.
