The limitlessly engaging Marla Black has written a charming, hilarious, and sometimes terrifying show that's step above most of those in the genre. I loved this show. It was laugh-out-loud funny at times but also a story that brought me to tears. Marla is a natural born storyteller. Don’t miss it!...

Marla tells a moving story with a few unexpected twists and a lot of humor + heart. She's got a lot of great visual aids too - photos, hand drawn caricatures, stuffed animals - to help carry her tale. I don't know much about the world of dog sledding, so it was cool to learn a thing or two - Marla did a good job of weaving interesting facts seamlessly into her performance. ...
