The character of Tess Baker is wonderfully developed, both her strengths and her weaknesses. She is likable because she is open to exploring those weaknesses. All the actors were great in their roles.
Lincoln too was true to his original self but also developed quickly with the times and delivered that message with poignancy.
What I didn't like
On one hand, the many scene shifts were necessary to make the play fast paced and keep the audience interest. On the other hand, there were so many that it became wearisome after awhile. Perhaps it would be better to have two sets of actors for the news broadcasts so we wouldn’t have to wait between the two but have them both on stage and just shift a spotlight.
Great innovation on the second candidate but not believable that the other side “saved” the doctor’s life.
My overall impression
Great show!! Original premise – well acted and executed. The show was very funny but also reflected each character’s personal journey and feelings.
