With an already clever concept, there's so much more under the surface. It's easy to rebuke modern politics and long for a different time, Lincoln 2020 turns that longing on its ear. While this play is astutely and often raucously funny, it is also surprisingly deep. Yes, I might be particularly vulnerable because I’ll be forever traumatized by the 2016 election results, but I found moment in the play ... haunting. Holiday Kinard's new work is hysterical and timely. Using just enough absurdism to talk about our political system, Lincoln2020 was so on point, fun. I left talking about it, about the state of the world, and that's what good theatre does.... full review

This play was clever, fun, relevant and extremely creative! My friends and I had the best time watching it.. time flew by. It raised important social and political issues, included some unexpected twists/turns (shout-out to Eric Delgado, who was on point!) and poked fun at serious matters in the most effective way. It 100% deserves to be extended, and I truly hope it is. I’m seeing the shows are selling out now.. and for good reason!... full review
