What I liked

Andrew was wonderful – his comedic timing was beyond refreshing and he felt like the glue that held it all together (until his demise ha!).
Callahan was a hoot! Clark, Chaz/Zack, Betty Lou/Liz were also major highlights and hilarious.

If this show makes it to that level, the Pool of Blood deserves a Tony – just sayin’.

What I didn't like

the dream sequence and the aftermath of it cut be entirely cut and i believe it would strengthen the story – it stole the uniqueness of the work. if you have something special, ret-conning it diminishes your impact. i would’ve personally loved that if you MUST have the dream sequence that the exchange would be the last scene – as a big twist at the end. But, I surely didn’t need the siblings talking about their life goals as if we have just invested an hour journey with them – if everything before it was a dream, then i do not know these characters and i am definitely not inclined to be introduced to someone new 5 minutes before the play ends.

My overall impression

fun, but clunky. would’ve loved more driving comedy as there were some spots that didn’t quite feel like they fit.
