The actors were very genuine and professional. The whole production was excellent.

My overall impression
First. A bit of a disclaimer. The producer, director, and co-playwright Jeannette Godoy has been my dear friend for over 20 years. This play was phenomenal. The actors pulled me into their stories of pain and struggle. I couldn’t hold back my tears several times. By the end the play I was feeling empowered and unified yelling “Ya Basta”! The production was excellent from authentic sets that brought the audience into the janitors workplace, to the lighting and music that amplified the feelings of pain and strength of the struggle against sexual violence. “Ya Basta: Times Been Up” regenerates my belief in the power of theater. Thank you to all those involved in the process of making this play happen. Great job my friend.
