My goodness. Everything was SO good. Lara’s ability to switch between different characters in a matter of seconds while also embracing each character so thoroughly blows my mind! I can get a real good sense of what each character is like. I was cracking up so hard in multiple scenes, and it’s quite hard to make me laugh! I also cried in other scenes, and it’s definitely hard to make me cry! I love that Lara is not afraid to be vulnerable and share her own experience, which made the show that much more powerful. She touches on some ways to identify abuse and some ways to help overcome it, which was so helpful, I loved that. The sheer amount of vulnerability in her journey of entering, experiencing, and finding strength to overcome an abusive relationship left me speechless – just wow. She made “Leaving Prince Charming” more than just a show. It moved me (and many others, I heard the snuffles) to tears, and I am left in so much amazement and wonder at the strength and beauty that is found in Miss. Repko. I want to thank her for sharing what she went through and for inspiring me and so many others. Also she’s drop dead gorgeous.
What I didn't like
If I haaave to pick something, I’d say I wasn’t the biggest fan of the voice used for naïve, but other than that nothing!!! The show was amazing, 10/10, A+++++!
My overall impression
INCREDIBLESHOW. I now want to watch every show that Lara writes and acts in because that lady is a queen. Left a lasting impact on me. I am inspired to love myself and find happiness and fulfillment in who I am. Lara is so funny, so passionate, and so raw and authentic. Best actress ever.
