What I liked

I especially enjoy both the concept and the writing for this production. The world building is great and works very well in creating a strange, bizarre journey that cannot really be described but can only be seen to be understood.

Sharp writing. Great cast. Strange, dark and humorous in a must-watch way.

What I didn't like

The only real issue I have with the show is that the scene changes just took WAY too long and it kept derailing the momentum the show had, especially as some of the scenes were short. This means that you get LONG scene change, short scene, then immediate LONG scene change again. The changes all seemed to come from the set pieces—many of which I didn’t ultimately feel mattered all that much to the actual play. It’s very tough in Fringe to pull off such a vast number of locations, but it did stop the play’s forward momentum several times.

My overall impression

An engaging post-apocalyptic tale that overall works well. A different sort of experience from Matt Robinson that takes the audience on a strange, different sort of ride to a great destination. Even if it has a few bumps along the way.
