What I liked
I loved the chemistry that was palpable between the 2 stars.
What I didn't like
I would have liked to have seen the projected images better, they were a little washed out by the ambient light. And I would have loved to hear much more of Mara’s harmonica music. We only got a small taste, and she obviously is immensely talented musically.
My overall impression
This is a show about love, pure and simple. As such, it is truly inspirational. If only we could all have such a deep and abiding love as the 2 principals Mimi and Mara have now shared for decades! Wouldn’t the world be a better place then??? It is their story, and they bravely share it with the world, including cis-gender heterosexual peeps like me. It’s funny and serious and everything in between.
