Laura Jo is very talented. She has made Shakespeare heroines accessible to all, and the pieces and transitions were polished and worth a look just for the simplicity of everything in the craziness that is Fringe....

I loved this show! Laura Jo’s songs grabbed my attention and held it through each character, Surprising me with ever changing vocal and performance dynamics for each of Shakespeare’s women.
This girl sings her heart out and left me wanting to hear more!

Laura Jo commands a stage with this nuanced and beautifully simple show full of original songs based on Shakespeare’s women. She bounces from the minds and desires of sweet Juliet (“I Shouldn’t Look at You”), to saucy Olivia (“Let’s Get a Room”), then delivers an unrelentingly devious and desperate Lady Macbeth Monologue in what feels like one long swimmer’s breath. With abundant ease and passionate soul, this master pianist/songwriter/vocalist/actress has created a fringe show NOT TO BE MISSED. I am a fan, you will be too and you’ll want her CD too. Get thee to Hobgoblin Playhouse for her last three performances!

Her songs are catchy, her new lyrics are so fun, and I loved hearing Shakespeare's words put to music. Laura Jo sings, plays, and acts each character so well and really transforms herself in each song....
