Baby Boy

One of the most creative entrances I've ever seen an actor make ;) This is an artfully done show- polished and well-written. One of the most important things about a solo-show is feeling safe- can I trust you with an hour of my time? Do I want to JUST watch you onstage? Are you a good writer, actor... And do I need to spend 60 minutes hearing about your life? The answer to all of these is a resounding yes. Adrian is an energetic bundle of charming energy- a true triple threat- his characters are funny, but not obnoxiously over-the-top as is often the case in a solo show. Coming out stories of an autobiographical nature are always heartfelt, but Adrian Eli goes beyond that and shares his emotions from the depths of his soul. The fact that he has survived so much loss of loved ones and managed to stay true to himself fuels the energy of this show, not to mention how he emerges from his mother at the beginning of the show! From being the baby boy in his family, he definitely learned how to be adorable and lovable and uses those traits to engage the audience into every moment and story he shares.... full review
