Wrestling with Tomorrow & Santa's Secret: Two One-Act Plays

What I liked

Whether alone on an island or among crowds of people, one can feel lonely and alone for many reasons. Everyone needs someone to care and be cared for. The actor who portrayed the Mall Santa beautifully brought to life and balanced his own feelings, as well as that of the mannequin, Vicky.

My overall impression

Loved Santa’s Secret! The relationship between Marty and Vicky reminded me of the loneliness and isolation Tom Hanks’ character felt in the movie Castawy, hence the “relationship” he developed with Wilson the volleyball. The writing/dialogue captured a range of emotions from humor to sensitivity to a genuine love and tenderness.
