The topic of this show is incredibly important and under-discussed- I love the idea of this show. I really like the device used to switch between fantasy and reality, but the whole production seemed to be geared toward sketch-like comedy... that's great- and it was laugh-out-loud funny at times, but then the show would suddenly be in an unearned deep moment... the whole thing sort of felt like having a conversation with a friend who hadn't dealt with their feelings on a topic- they're laughing, but you're crying- no one is on the same page. I'd love to see this show commit more to the dramatic and real aspect, but for now I don't think the show knows what it is....
