What I liked
This show is truly a must-see at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Rarely are one-person shows so captivating, but Prescott’s writing and acting elevates “Movers and Shakers” to another level.

My overall impression
Jon Prescott takes the audience on an often hilarious and ultimately poignant journey in his one man show directed by Annie McVey. Prescott’s ability to carry a show alone for nearly ninety minutes is a remarkable feat. His ability to simultaneously charm the audience and recount traumatic years of his life is not only due to his being a skilled performer, but is a result of McVey’s strong, yet subtle direction.
