I was excited to see the play myself, but I brought some family members who knew nothing of the plot or what to expect. Put simply, we were all thrilled. Even the teenager amongst us was delighted, and continues to reference hilarious moments from the play. Great characters, incredibly crisp dialogue, wonderful songs - just a lot of fun. All things considered, the caliber of this show is beyond par from what you would usually find at a local theater. The cast brings a palpable energy to the stage which is almost as impressive as their singing talents. From the lighthearted book to the knee slapping songs, the show elicits a smile from the audience which lasts long after the metaphorical curtains have drawn. ... full review
