I thought it was really good. An extremely well-done one-man show. It was thought provoking and Evan McNamara did an excellent job portraying a variety of events and characters - some very funny - that affected his bereavement caused by the death of his father....

Evan was really on his game in this wonderful one-man show. His great talent let's him sift through each character like a seasoned professional. The directing by John Coppola was also fantastic to watch as with most great directors, you barely notice the directing....

I was surprised by how moved I was by this show. I wasn't sure what to expect. Evan McNamara took a bare stage with three black boxes and created a dynamic world. He plays several different characters through memories as he explores his journey from grief to healing. There was not a dry eye in the house by the end. ...

We really liked it. The actor did an amazing job of evoking the other characters who peopled his journey home to face his grief. You actually had pictures of them in your head. Humor and pathos. Definitely worth seeing....

Producer Michael Blaha has brought another Edinburgh Fringe success to LA, a solo show more conventional in style than ECHOES but also a compelling star vehicle, also recast with a local LA actor, EVAN McNAMARA, who commands the stage from the moment the lights go up. Anyone who can do a 58-minute monologue gets my attention, and my respect. Evan himself is more ingratiating than the British character he plays, but as the layers of the story are peeled back one year in one hour he becomes A Guy With a Heart of Gold that isn't at first apparent. This script seems like an ideal monologue for an acting class since it is obviously a series of segments which can be edited or abridged, though that mighty not meet with the approval of the author...
