About the Project

Buttercup loves Wesley, a poor stable boy. But when he’s captured by pirates, she’s chosen by evil Prince Humperdinck to be his princess bride. Along the way, she gets kidnapped, he gets killed, but it all ends up okay.

Inspired by Sir Patrick Stewart’s one-man production of ‘A Christmas Carol’,
this adaptation of the beloved 1987 film uses minimal set pieces, relying instead on Goldman’s text and Monsell’s ability to portray every character in the story. Complete will all the fencing, fighting, chases, escapes, and silly accents you’d expect…and with copious amounts of water near by.
