Trafficked 2.0 is a show that remains with you for a long time, it is both powerful and haunting. It provides a much needed voice to a ongoing crises, this show isn't set in any specific time period but feels as relevant as ever in 2018. Peerada and Verenice share such a powerful bond, despite being separated by a physical barrier throughout the show, they are supported by a strong cast who shined performing the movement pieces. This show will break your heart, and hopefully provide a call to action. I strongly encourage everyone to make time to see this show, thus far this is my Pick of Fringe.

Kudos to the full cast! Trafficked 2.0's handling on the disturbing subject of human trafficking was done well while still being difficult to watch as we usually wish to avoid the matter. I find that people are often too comfortable in the safety of our homes and forget about the dangers the world possesses. Peerada and her cast and crew didn't pull the punches. They put out this show in beautiful artform so the people can hear the story of these poor women and girls. ...

An engaging and riveting show about females kidnapped in their early teens and then forced into a life of prostitution. The lead actress (who also wrote and directed,) Peerada Meemalayath, gives a powerfully honest and emotionally wrenching performance. Very realistic and heartbreaking! It is serious material about a difficult subject. Painful to watch at times...but very worthwhile. This important topic is handled nicely and it packs some powerful emotional gut punches! I recommend it!...
