When John Faustus seeks to gain infinite knowledge and power, he is tempted by Mephistophilis to enter into a compact with Lucifer himself. Surrounded by the Seven Deadly Sins personified, Faustus embarks upon a soul-damning quest to obtain all the world has to give, and he receives his just rewards in the end….
