My overall impression
I saw this show when it was performed in New York. I thought it was incredible. Tanya Perez puts on a very moving performance as she portrays the stories of both a grandfather and his granddaughter. In addition to telling a poignant tale she sheds light on a little known chapter of American history. The great writing and acting combined with the beautiful guitar playing of Carlos Cuestas makes for a wonderful evening of theater.
