This show was unlike anything I've ever seen. Chimpskin tells the unique story of Lucy, a chimp that was brought up like a human as an experiment. The show consists of incredibly talented performers with a great amount of commitment. I loved the movements, how everybody was in sync with each other from the beginning to the end. The choreography, the fluidity of it -it's impossible to look away or think about something else. It pulls you in and you're in for the ride. The story is based on true events and the Puckwit Gang turned the story of Lucy into a series of view points, discoveries and vignettes that they wrote themselves. Little has ever moved me the way Chimpskin did. Stories like these are vastly overlooked, and even when their told, rarely are they executed this brilliantly. The ensemble, the movement, the music. This piece was a beautiful journey with such subtlety and raw passion. Please do yourself a favor and go and experience Chimpskin!...
