Every once in a while, a piece of theatre invites you so deeply into a world that when you walk back outside, you miss it like home. Ms. Otero’s writing and performance is so fierce in its humanity that as an audience we live for 75 minutes in the Cuban part of New Orleans, and we long for it when it’s over.
Directed with tenderness and nuance by Michael D’Angora.
