What I particularly loved [and what haunted me after] was how my emotions would sharply change moment to moment. Paul would make me laugh at things, and then I’d realize how wrong it was to be laughing. Then he’d forgive us with empathy. In the world we’re in, so many important messages are either distributed under the guise of being politically correct, making them less impactful, or are so diluted it’s hard to connect to them. Paul opened my eyes to my own behavior and helped me calibrate the lens through which I see the world, my friends, and other aspiring artists. Job well done!
