What I liked

A really gorgeous performance by all involved! I loved the semi-immersive aspects. And I thought the analogy of “going dark” for – what I at least took to be – depression or bipolar was an insightful metaphor. As the daughter of someone who suffers from both, I was incredibly touched by this piece. And the cat was perfect. It was one of those things that could have either been cute or stupid, and it was adorable.

What I didn't like

There wasn’t really anything I disliked.

My overall impression

This is such a beautiful show. There’s so much heart and humor throughout. The actors are stellar (pun intended) and all give powerful performances, transitioning smoothly from present day to memory and back again. The actors are so fearless and generous to the audience and the end of the show is so light and redemptive. I’m so very glad I saw it!
