What I liked
SPIKE IS THE MAN. Whole show should have been Spike. Should have been Spike kills Edward and let Buffy and Twilight-whatever-her-name-is deal with the fallout. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN BESTEST IDEA OF ALL TIME.
No joke—Spike wasted. Should have been on stage lots more with bitchin’ accent and parodyness!
Buffy was good, too.
What I didn't like
Angel wasn’t handsome, dark & tall. Just flat. Actor tried, but it just wasn’t gelling for me. Wasn’t matching the same heightened acting style of everybody else running around on stage.
My overall impression
It was what I expected. Which is cool. Didn’t get BETTER than I expected. Which is what I wanted it to do. But it was great for what it was—exactly what it wanted to be. Nothing wrong with that, see.
