Robot Monster the Musical

Very funny!... full review

I've never seen the movie "Robot Monster"; now I want to. I laughed loud and often at this extremely silly and extremely fun romp. A lot of really good performances from almost everyone in the cast. Although some were stronger singers than others, I'd say the majority were in good voice. And I truly feel for the poor actor in that robot-helmeted gorilla suit for the whole show!... full review

As a fan of bad movies and zany theater, I was surprised by how difficult it was to sit through. committing basically every sin theatrically and musically, it seemed to drag forever, finding new ways to make me cringe each scene. The cast wasn't ready at the preview i saw, and I'm sure they'll improve, but bad direction and writing throughout holds back an otherwise great idea.... full review
