Dealt with heartbreak in an entertaining way, weaving grounded, relatable relationship woes with comedy and elements of the absurd. Reminiscent of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (that's a good thing in my book!), but finds its own angle. I really enjoyed and had fun at this show!...

Emergency Operation blends fantasy and humor with the complexity of romance in this delightful play. Ben Bergstrom--with the promise of being the next young, handsome and new Johnny Depp--is the main star whose broken heart undergoes repair in a charming series of humorous and crisply edited scenes involving a fabulous cast. Every very unique character reflects the playwrights insightful understanding of diverse human relationships, placing constant comedy on our stereotypes. Together, these artists are directed by Maureen Lenker to keep you laughing through every scene of this delightful snippet of life. Nobody will go home remotely neutral about the time well spent. We all look forward to Lauren Gorski's next play!...
