A relatable and wonderful mechanism for a story of losing, and then finding yourself in random meetings of lyft/uber customers. Jonathan is a great story teller. This one man show flies by fast. What an amazing solo performance! Jonathan Tipton Meyers is a gifted storyteller who at first brings you to a seemingly normal conversation to spellbinding intimacy once he explores his personal story. The first half was very light and funny as he leads you to his starting days as a Lyft driver and his experience with familiar LA culture. The next half gets more intense and you are progressively drawn into his despair. My engagement with the final act was so deep that I couldn't snap out of it for the rest of the run. ... full review

I loved Jonathan's way of engaging with his audience throughout. I felt included in his experiences and the various stories and moods throughout the piece. Funny most of the time but also had some shifts into moments of vulnerability. For LA people (which I am not) there was a lot of recognition of the local scene and some of the issues of this city.... full review

The first impression that comes to mind is extremely clever. Jonathan welcomes you to his backseat of his car and takes you on a literal ride of life's complicated journey.
