Jennie Fahn was absolutely brilliant tonight in her one woman show "Under The Jello Mold". Funny, energetic, and entertaining accounts of her life with her mom from the beginning to the end. Through her animated stage work, I saw Jannie as a little girl. I saw her mom as a young beautiful woman. I saw Jannie as an adult child. I saw her mom as an elderly grandma. Her mom was loud. she was sassy. She was charming. She was mean. She was funny. She was proud. As I watched, I felt me as Jannie, a daughter, feeling frustrated, scared, and sad.
