What I liked
Extraordinary in its playwright/performer’s willingness to pull back the curtain on the rawest most painful aspects of her life and present them in a creative way that utilized her myriad performing talents. Distinct aspects of her personality came to life, each with a different voice and bodily characterization.
What I didn't like
For the director: Pace felt overly frenetic for me. I think a little more space between the main persona and the transition to each characterization would have helped me absorb what was happening and being said and perhaps packed even more of an emotional whallop – though the whallop is already profound and gut wrenching.
My overall impression
Hard hitting, thought provoking, raw, honest, brave!
