What I liked
Hmmm. I wanted to like this more than I did and I’m still puzzling over that fact the following day. I did adore Tia the woman who played the host with incredible aplomb. Thought she was wildly perfect in the role. The rest of it, I get that it was a spoof but the characters were so cartoonish, buffoonish and overdone that I got tired being sledgehammered for an hour.
What I didn't like
Even a touch of subtlety would have gone a long way. Thou I laughed out loud once or twice I was mostly sort of annoyed. I think assuming the audience is intelligent rather than idiots could help.
My overall impression
it’s a cool idea that didn’t work for me. If it ever gets rewritten I’d love to see it again.
